Madrid: Real Madrid’s Brazilian superstar Vinicius Jr. responded to racist abuse by fans. Vinicius said fans who use racist abuse during football matches should be banned from stadiums for life.
The actor disclosed this during an interview given to a Brazilian channel. Vinicius, 22, was the victim of racial abuse last September. The incident took place during the match against Atletico Madrid.
Vinicius was racially abused by Atletico fans outside the stadium ahead of the match. This led to big problems. Real won the match against Atletico 2-1.
‘If you hurt someone else, you will surely get retribution for it. Racist abusers are getting backlash anyway. They never stop it. Most of the spectators are football lovers. But the intention of some of them is different. Vinicius said that those who use racial abuse in the stadium should be banned for life.
When there was racial abuse against Vinicius, football legend Pele, superstar Neymar and others declared their support for the Real Madrid star. Real Madrid also announced that they will take legal action against those who used racial abuse against Vinicius.
