Professor Shin recently revealed that “an unpublished public opinion poll report from the Future Korea Research Institute, which is known to have been effectively run by Myung Tae-gyun, was used by Yoon Seok-yeol’s camp even on the day of the presidential election.”

A key member of the Democratic Party leadership said on the 27th, “We will call Professor Shin to the steering committee’s audit of state affairs on the 1st of next month,” and added, “We are discussing a plan to call him as a reference.” According to the Act on Testimony, Appraisal, etc. in the National Assembly, the attendance request of the National Assembly Inspector General must be delivered to the witness or witness at least 7 days before the attendance request date. However, a Democratic Party member of the steering committee said, “Considering the seriousness and urgency of the matter, there are many technical ways to summon Professor Shin to the National Assembly inspection as long as he is willing to attend.”

Professor Shin also said in a phone call with the Dong-A Ilbo that day, “I have not yet been contacted by the Democratic Party, but if called, there is no reason why I cannot appear as the head of the National Assembly.”

Kang Hye-kyung, who first exposed the ‘suspicion of Ms. Kim Kun-hee’s nomination interference’, is also scheduled to appear as a witness at the National Assembly’s audit on November 1st. The Democratic Party plans to strongly attack the ‘suspicion of illegal use of public opinion polls by the President and his wife’ based on the revelations made by Professor Shin and Mr. Kang. The Democratic Party is also considering a proposal to call Mr. A, the former CEO of a chemical company in the Changwon area, as a reference for the National Assembly audit, who recently said, “Mr. Myeong was active as a feng shui person in the Changwon area of ​​Gyeongsangnam-do in the early 2010s.”

Professor Shin recently revealed, “Even on the day of the presidential election, the Myung Tae-gyun report was shared with key camp staff members, and a strategy meeting was held based on it.” In relation to this, Kim Min-seok, a senior member of the Democratic Party of Korea, held a press conference at the National Assembly on this day and said, “Based on the testimony of Professor Shin, who was a ministerial figure in the Park Geun-hye government and oversaw the policy support work for Yoon Seok-yeol’s presidential campaign, Mr. Myung’s illegal opinion poll was used as official data of Yoon Seok-yeol’s camp until the day of the presidential election. He said, “Evidence has been revealed that it was used,” and “The emergency exit of the ‘illegal gate’ that the president and his wife, who were elected through an ‘illegal presidential election’ using an illegal investigation, blamed on the broker Mr. Myeong has been opened.”
