At the premium cinema CinemaPlus, located in the Gənclik Mall shopping center, the film by People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Vagif Mustafayev “Həyat, deyəsən, gözəldir” (Life seems to be good) was sold out, CinemaPlus reported to Day.Az.
The show was completely sold out. Among the guests were veterans of the 44-day Patriotic War, famous actors, show business stars, media personalities, and bloggers.
The film was shot by order of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan at the Azerbaijanfilm film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli.
The international premiere of the film took place on November 4, 2022 at the Korkut Ata Film Festival of the Turkic World, where Vagif Mustafayev was awarded in the category “Best Director of the Turkic World”.
The author of the film’s script is Vagif Mustafayev. The main roles in the film were played by Hikmet Ragimov, Nino Gomarteli, Dmitry Samkharadze, Georgy Chelia, Aftandil Makharadze, Sevinj Aliyeva, Anaida Rostovskaya and other actors.
The film “Həyat, deyəsən, gözəldir” tells about the period of the 30-year Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani lands and the victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The plot centers on two brothers who were captured along with the rest of the panicked Armenian soldiers after a counter-offensive by the Azerbaijani army. The further fate of the Armenian brothers is presented in the tragicomic genre, and this forms the basis of the screen work.
Filming took place in the village of Hadrut in the Khojavend region, Khizi region, Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula.
Note that the film was released on September 28 in all CinemaPlus cinemas.
