In Annur taluka, Jamabandi was held for three days. District Revenue Officer Leila Alex received petitions from the public and inspected the revenue accounts.A total, 648 petitions were received. More petitions were filed seeking change of belt, change of snail belt, land size, old age allowance. Of these, immediate action was granted on 74 petitions, including 15 old age allowances. Tashildar Sivakumar, Mayor Parameswaran, Deputy Chairman Vijayakumar and various departmental officials were present.

Jamabandi was held for four days at Mettupalayam. Northern RDO, Ravichandran, received the petitions. A total of 922 petitions were received. Of these, 501 petitions were filed seeking free housing lease and 39 petitions seeking old age allowance. Tashildar Malathi, Dhani Tashildar Rangarajan, MLA, Selvaraj, Karamadai Union Chairman Manimegalai, Panchayat leaders, Revenue Department were present.

In Chulur taluka, Jama Bandi was held for three days. Collector Sameeran, received the petitions. Of the petitions received, for 250 beneficiaries, in the first phase, Rs. Collector Sameeran issued welfare orders worth Rs 37.16 lakh. Free Housing Patta, 37, Old Age Pension Scheme, 112, Widows ‘Pension, 57, Certificate, 9 Pension Scheme for Disabled, 13, Unsupported Widows’ Pension, 2, Snail Patta Change, 9, Ration Card, 11 .
Collector Sameeran told reporters, “Petitions received at the Jamabandhi across the district will be dealt with expeditiously. Petitions received on other days will be dealt with expeditiously. The Labor Welfare Department has been directed to gather full details of the outsourced workers.” .
