√ Grandma’s sore fingers
When Younha grew up in her mother’s womb for about 6 months, Younha’s father, who had not gotten married, broke off the engagement a month before the wedding. Younha’s mother, who left after giving birth to Younha, and the grandmother who raised Younha, who was a lump of blood, instead of her son, who was unable to raise a child alone as an unmarried woman. Younha’s father, who had hundreds of millions of dollars in debt due to a failed business, borrowed the house loan and the severance pay that her grandmother received from working for 25 years, but it eventually collapsed and the family’s fortunes declined further. A grandmother who started working as a caregiver seven years ago to make a living and pay for raising her young granddaughter. I need to make more money, but I can’t do it because I have a family to take care of. 13 years ago, my husband suffered from stomach cancer and suffered a broken leg in an accident, making it difficult for him to move. He also developed dementia and was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, making it difficult for him to live his daily life without his grandmother’s care. Moreover, the grandmother does not have the resources to take care of herself as she takes care of her mother, who suffers from heart failure and dementia, every day. Recently, I suffered from an acute lumbar disc problem, but I have no choice but to replace it with my granddaughter’s massage. Younha and Younha’s father are grandmother’s sore fingers. She is a grandmother who has cared for Younha with only love, but she is saddened because she cannot fill the void left by her parents.

√ Younha’s hidden wounds
As the company I worked for became difficult, my dad worked part-time at a distribution center early in the morning and at a restaurant until late at night. Since the debt I have to repay every month is over 2 million won, I don’t have enough time to sleep, so I’m living in a small studio next to my office. A father who goes to see the daughter he misses every time he feels like giving up. When I was standing on the edge of a cliff, the person who gave me a reason to live was my daughter Yunha. A father who endures his immediate longing for the day when he can live with Younha. But eight-year-old Younha is different. He always waits for his father and wants his love, and he is curious about the existence of his mother who does not visit him. However, for fear of upsetting her grandmother and father, Younha never shows her emotions easily and just keeps them inside. In the end, I had a hard time with stress-related alopecia areata… but since last year, with the interest and support of the school, I have been receiving psychological counseling and am gradually finding a brighter side. Yoonha paints the day beautifully with the expectation and hope that ‘if you do good things, the father you miss will come’.
