The musician Antonio Salieri is admitted to a mental hospital after making an extreme attempt. He confesses to a priest who visits him at the hospital that he killed Mozart, and confesses the deep anguish and anger he had endured during that time. Salieri, who had dreamed of becoming a composer since childhood, decided that he would dedicate the rest of his life to God if only God would allow him to live as a musician. However, his pious faith is shattered when he meets the vulgar and vulgar composer Mozart. Salieri feels extremely betrayed by the fact that the God he so admired gave a heavenly talent to a man who was far from noble. And he decides to take revenge on God who drove him to despair by eliminating Mozart.
