Just hearing the name makes you miss it, Grandma. Fragrant in the spring, cool in the summer, savory in the fall, and warm in the winter! With just one meal prepared by Grandma, simple but full of affection, all the worries and concerns of the world disappear.

Grandmas’ cooking skills are shown off with fresh ingredients from all over the country! 30 years is ridiculous! What are the cooking secrets of the grandmas with decades of experience?

This week’s (July 1-5) EBS 1TV current affairs and cultural programs <한국기행>The 5-part series ‘National Grandmas’ Cooking Show’ will be aired.

Ganjeolgot in Ulsan is the first place to see the sun rise on the east coast. There, Jang Jae-ho from Haenam continues his career in the sea, following in the footsteps of his grandmother and mother.

He says that the sea has been his playground since he was 5 years old, and he started fishing in earnest in his teens. He boasts 19 years of experience and has proudly ranked first in the highest harvest.

For Jae-ho, there was someone he could never leave out, his grandmother, Kim Hak-eum, who was his life’s teacher and compass. She did not want to pass on the hardships of sea work to her grandchildren, but as if by fate, she was drawn to the sea and has continued to carry on the business for three generations.

Grandmother’s wish is for the safety and health of those who have already started. This wish is contained in a special nutritious meal prepared with fresh seafood caught from the East Sea!

From the nutritious food that is said to be passed down by word of mouth among the female divers, such as steamed maejip, to a nutritious assortment of seafood full of the scent of the sea, let’s take a look at the nutritious meals of the female divers for a solid summer.
