Treasure of Glory, Mosi Leaf Songpyeon

Yeonggwang’s specialty, Mosi! Yeonggwang Mosi is grown in abundant sunlight and clean sea breezes from the west coast.
It has been widely known for its excellent quality since ancient times.
It is said that since rice cakes made with hemp grass do not spoil easily even in the summer, they were used as a snack for workers. In particular, hemp songpyeon was made for the farmhands who were doing the hard fall harvest, and was thus called ‘farmhand songpyeon.’
In times when food was scarce, songpyeon made from mugwort leaves, which were easily available in villages, served as a snack for children and sometimes as a staple food.

If you can’t even straighten your back all day, you can steam a cauldron full of sea salt and eastern beef on other hemp leaves.
Songpyeon made with sweat is complete!
Rice cakes filled with hard work are sweeter than anything else. Let’s feel the rich autumn atmosphere with chewy and healthy mosisongpyeon!

Mugwort rice cake with sea breeze

A quiet dawn in Hampyeong. It is said that for 48 years, there has been a mill that greets the early morning without fail, whether it snows or rains.
The small mill run by an old couple has become even more vibrant since the addition of their three sons 15 years ago…

When the three brothers are together, there is no one better than Myeong-ho, the eldest who opens the dawn of the rice cake shop, Myeong-ok, the second oldest who is an expert at squeezing oil, and Myeong-hoe, the youngest who is an expert at making mugwort rice cakes that no one can match, there is no one better than Myeong-ho!

Mugwort that was spread all over the land in spring.
Mugwort rice cakes made with a generous amount of ground mugwort are a valuable food item for the common people.
In particular, the Sam Brothers’ Mill insists on using only mugwort from April, which is full of the sea breeze… The mugwort rice cake made with the sea breeze, which is as deep green as the mugwort that is generously added, allows you to fully experience the fragrant sentiment of spring.
Simple but deep taste of rice cake. Come join us for a grand feast of rice cakes presented by the three brothers of the rice cake shop with unrivaled skills!
