Manama> Those who violate the privacy of others by misusing mobile phones will be fined heavily in Saudi Arabia. According to the Saudi Public Prosecution, the culprits in such a case will be fined 5,00,000 Riyals (about Rs. 1,06,00,220) and imprisoned for one year.

Instruments and means used in the crime will be confiscated. The prosecution stated that privacy is one of the rights protected by law and is inviolable.
