1. FC Magdeburg can hardly be denied promotion! 2:1 (1:1) the third division first pursuer Saarbrücken fights down and is already 14 (!) points ahead of relegation place three.
Heroes of the evening: two kickers of all things, who were particularly in focus after the first leg (1:2)…
GOAL REVENGE ON SAARBRUCKEN!
A good five months after Sirlord Conteh (25) had to listen to massive racist insults from ex-Saarbrücker Dennis Erdmann (31/now Colorado) in the first leg, the super sprinter made his best game of the season. He not only scored to make it 2-1 (47′), but also prepared Baris Atik’s (27) 1-0 (12′) early on.
The German-Turk, who made the scandal public at the time and was thus himself denounced by the Saarlanders: “He did an outstanding job. 95 percent of the goal goes to Sissi’s cap.”

What followed was pure emotion. The 14,316 fans in the stadium could literally feel the weight that fell from the shoulders of the FCM attackers as they cheered – and the team-mates noticed it too!
Clearer Andreas Müller (21) to BILD: “I begrudge the two with all my heart that they score the goals against the troops. It was incredibly important, especially for Sissi.”

Magdeburg cheers and thus closes a topic that made the FCM even closer together. Atik: “We’ve now finished the game with Saarbrücken and are focusing on Wiesbaden.”
They’re coming to the MDCC Arena on Saturday (2 p.m.)…
