Real Sociedad players celebrate Bryce Mendes’ goal (La Liga)
The third round of the Spanish league continues tonight (Saturday) with the intriguing match between Alchef and Real Sociedad, where the guest came out with the upper hand when they won 0:1. After being beaten 4-1 at home to Barcelona’s Margherita, the Basques were delighted to welcome back a weak Alcha and recorded their first win since Alexander Issac left them for Newcastle during the week.
The guests dominated the game from the first moment and pressed on the host’s goal, when they found the net in the 20th minute from a goal by Bryce Mendes, who received a deep ball from Martin Zubimendi and kicked to the bottom right corner. In the 34th minute, the Basques had a chance to double the advantage with a penalty, but Mikel Marino kicked to the middle and goalkeeper Edgar Badia had no difficulty stopping it.
