From July 6th to August 6th, 2023, the largest dance festival in Europe invites you to dance again – with 68 dance pieces in the theaters and museums, with 213 workshops for dancing yourself as well as daily concerts and DJ sets to celebrate.
The highlights of the 40th edition of the festival include world and Austrian premieres by postmodern dance icon Lucinda Childs, Belgian director Jan Lauwers and his Needcompany, exceptional choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and her company Rosas, and Canadian dance superstar Marie Chouinard.
Founded in 1984, the ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival has developed into the largest festival for contemporary dance and performance. Every summer it presents a uniquely diverse program with performances, workshops, research projects and musical acts.
