Lanka Sathosa has decided to reduce the prices of 10 essential items from today.
According to this, the prices of essential food items like domestic samba, cowpea, cowpea sugar, groundnut, domestic potato, big onion, rind fish, groundnut, cuttlefish and dry chillies have been reduced.

Dry chillies will be sold at Rs 1,380 per kg, reduced by Rs 120.
The price of a kilogram of garlic has been reduced by Rs 25 to Rs 450.
The price of a kilogram of nettle has been reduced by Rs 25 to Rs 1,000.
The price of a kilogram of groundnut has been reduced by Rs 15 to Rs 555.
The price of a kilogram of domestic samba rice has been reduced by Rs 11 to Rs 199.
The price of a kilogram of white sugar has been reduced by Rs 7 to Rs 210.
The price of a kilogram of groundnut has been reduced by Rs 7 to Rs 298.
The price of a kilogram of domestic potato has been reduced by Rs 10 to Rs 270.
The price of a kilogram of big onion has been reduced by Rs 10 to Rs 119
Sathosa has announced that the price of 425 grams of fish will be reduced by 10 rupees and will be sold at 520 rupees.
