The court ordered to remove the encroachment on the road in Arur taluka Vedakatumduvu area. Accordingly, a team consisting of Arur Tehsildar Kanimozhi, Revenue Inspector Ponmani and Village Administrative Officers went to the concerned place yesterday. Shankar (age 50) and Hariharan (25) who came there then threatened the authorities saying that they should not remove the road encroachment. Subsequently, Tahsildar Kanimozhi Kottapatti Police Station filed a complaint against the concerned people for threatening them with preventing them from doing government work. Police Inspector Sivakumar and the police conducted an investigation. Following this, the police have registered a case against 10 people including Shankar and Hariharan and are investigating them.
