The board of directors of Lankabangla Finance Plc, a listed company in the financial sector of the capital market, has declared a 10 percent dividend for shareholders. Its all cash dividends.
This dividend has been declared for the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. As a result shareholders will get cash dividend of 1 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.
On Tuesday (August 13), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
The dividend decision was taken after reviewing and approving the last year’s audited financial report at the company’s board meeting held earlier on Monday (August 12).
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on September 29 to approve the declared dividend by consensus of the shareholders. And the record date for distribution of the declared dividend to the shareholders has been set at 6 September.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the year under review stood at Rs 0.70 as against Rs 1.21 in the same period of the previous financial year. The company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) for the financial year ended December 31, 2023 was Tk 18.20.
In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
