10 prisoners of war are released from Russia

RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has successfully mediated the release of 10 prisoners from Russia as part of a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Moroccan, US, UK, Swedish and Croatian nationals were also among the freed POWs. The relevant departments of Saudi Arabia brought the prisoners of war from Russia to Saudi Arabia. Necessary arrangements are being made for their return journey to their homelands. The Foreign Ministry expressed Saudi Arabia’s gratitude to the Russian and Ukrainian governments for their cooperation and response to the Crown Prince’s efforts to release prisoners of war.
