jpnn.comPEKANBARU – As many as ten thousand people have registered for the Riau Bhayangkara Run event.

The high enthusiasm of the residents will have an impact on accommodation and culinary which will sell well.

Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of Tuah Negeri STIE Puji Ananda Irvan said that the Riau Bhayangkara Run event has a long-term effect on the community’s economy, especially in Pekanbaru City.

Moreover, during the implementation of the event initiated by the Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal, the organizers involved community MSMEs.

According to Puji, gathering 10 thousand people to attend in one place is not easy.

“So, this is not only a sporting event, but also has an impact on regional recognition. Moreover, there are thousands of people coming from outside Pekanbaru or Riau. At least, participants come to stay and look for culinary, or shop and visit malls or shopping centers,” said Puji Thursday (4/7).

The graduate of the Master of Economics Education from Padang State University explained that the economy will increase rapidly because there are MSMEs involved.

If half of the total participants shop at MSMEs, one person spends an average of IDR 100 thousand, then there is IDR 500 million in economic turnover among MSMEs at that time.

As many as 10 thousand participants have registered for the Riau Bhayangkara Run event, accommodation and culinary are expected to sell well.
