(Ali Sahi) IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s educational dost vision, released record scholarships for the children of police employees.
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that this year 7549 children were given educational scholarships in various degree programs, more than 52 crores were released in the form of educational scholarships for students, 262 students were given 2 scholarships for PhD, MPhil degrees. More than 10 lakhs were given.
According to the police spokesperson, more than 96.3 million scholarships have been issued to 277 students for MBBS, BDS programs, 489 students of IT degree programs have been given more than 41.8 million rupees, while 115 engineering degree students have received a scholarship. More than 41 lakh crore scholarships were given.
3006 students of various programs of BS Honors have been given 22 million rupees as scholarships, 2590 intermediate students have been given more than 6.5 million funds for educational expenses, 371 children who have memorized the Holy Quran have received more than 35.2 million rupees. Granted, more than 1 crore 8 million scholarships were given to 220 students receiving business education, more than 13 lakh rupees were given to 20 under matric students.
IG Punjab said that last year the children of police employees were given educational scholarships worth 85 crores, this year they will spend 100 crores on the education welfare of the employees’ children.
