This fall, the splendid lights of 1,000 drones will light up the night sky over the Han River.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 18th that it will hold the ‘2024 Hangang Light Show (Drone Light Show)’ five times from the 21st to the 26th of October at Ttukseom Hangang Park. As Seoul’s representative nighttime tourism content that was viewed by a total of 78,000 people in the first half of this year, it has returned more splendidly and beautifully for the fall season.

The second half of the year performances will be held on the 21st, 28th, October 4th, 9th, and 26th. 1,000 drones will light up the night sky over the Han River, providing domestic and international tourists with enjoyable memories and things to see.

The first performance will be held for 15 minutes from 8 PM under the theme of ‘Mysterious Forest’. It is planned to create an atmosphere as if walking through a magical forest in the city center with a theme linked to the Seoul International Garden Expo.

The second performance will feature a special spectacle of music and lights, along with a performance by the Seoul Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. The third performance will be a ‘Seoul Moon x Moon Music’ performance, which will be held in conjunction with the release of the full-length album (Moon Music) by the internationally beloved British band Coldplay, and will show the story of traveling to space aboard Seoul Moon.

The 4th episode will be linked to the ‘Smart Life Week (SLW) 2024’ event, in which 100 cities around the world participate, and will showcase the smart city of Seoul and the future of cyberspace. The 5th episode will end the show by displaying world-famous paintings and sculptures.

The drone light show can be viewed for free anywhere near Hangang Park. Various performances are also held before and after the Hangang Light Show. The Seoul City Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Our Neighborhood Concert’ is scheduled for the 28th.

For the safety of citizens, on the day of the performance, exits 2 and 3 of Jayang Station on Subway Line 7 will be closed to traffic. Please enter Ttukseom IC through exit 1.
