Bunia, 24 avril 2023 (ACP).- 103 structures will be built in Ituri, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, as part of the Local Development Program for 145 Territories (PDL-145T), the Central Coordination Office (BCeCo) told the ACP on Monday. /Ituri branch.
“Across the province of Ituri we will build 60 schools, 38 health centers and 5 administrative buildings based on one building per territory, for a total of 103 structures to be built as part of the major government project. entitled “Local development plan for the 145 territories” (PDL-145T)”, said a member of BCeCo/Ituri, who requested anonymity.
“The first works have started in the territories of Irumu and Mambasa. For the territory of Irumu we will therefore have 13 schools and 6 health centers plus an administrative building. In Mambasa territory, there are plans to build 12 schools, 8 health centers and an administrative building,” he pointed out.
According to the source, six local implementing agencies have been selected for Irumu territory. They will deliver at the end of this month of April 2023, three schools, namely EP Luga 1, EP Luga 2 and EP Bogoro as well as two health centers in the localities of Bogoro and Chayi.
Six small and medium enterprises have been selected by the BCeCo for the three (3) other territories, namely Aru, Djugu and Mahagi. They will build schools, health centers and administrative buildings there.
“For the territory of Aru we are going to build 13 schools, 12 health centers and 1 administrative building. In the territory of Djugu, it is planned to build 10 schools, 6 health centers plus 1 administrative building; while for the territory of Mahagi it is planned the construction of 12 schools, 6 health centers and 1 administrative building”, concluded the source.
