108 MP camera for less than 300 euros

Realme has landed in Europe for a couple of years and with its mid-range products has already conquered an important slice of the market. With the smartphone 8 Pro aims to offer a camera with a 108 MP main sensor and a set of advanced photographic features for less than 300 euros.

The 1 / 1.52-inch Samsung HM2 108MP sensor has a maximum resolution of 12000 × 9000 and supports 9-in-1 Pixel Binning technology, which allows you to improve image quality in low light conditions.

In-sensor Zoom technology allows the sensor to use the 12 megapixel mapped with the enlarged section to generate an image. The processing process is faster thanks to the smaller 12MP photo size, allowing realme 8 Pro to take eight 12MP photos in a row and then further increase the sharpness of the image thanks to the definition enhancing algorithm.

Thanks to a time-lapse video algorithm based on photos of the starry sky, the camera can take 480 seconds to take 30 photos and then generate a 1 second time-lapse video: the time-lapse mode can show the starry skies in continuous motion at a speed 480 times faster.

Realme 8 Pro is equipped with the 50W SuperDart charging, which allows you to charge the 4500mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 47 minutes. With the super power saving mode enabled, 5% of the battery can last 32 hours on standby or 98 minutes on call.

The display is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full HD, with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core and the memory is expandable up to 256 GB.

It is available in Infinite Blue, Infinite Black and Punk Black colors and in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The launch price for the first week (from 24 to 30 March) is starting from 259.00 for the version with 6 GB of Ram and 128 of storage. From 31 March it will be on sale for 279 euros.
