Adam Muhammad arrived in Makkah at the end of an 11-month hiking journey to perform the Hajj. Adam Mohammed, who left Britain, reached Mecca in 10 months and 26 days, crossing nine countries. He is a British citizen of Iraqi descent. Arriving in Makkah, Adam Muhammad performed Umrah.

He said that Hajj is the most noble and beloved thing to him. Arrived in Makkah and performed Umrah and spent a lot of time in the vicinity of the Kaaba. Adam left Britain for Mecca on August 1, 2021 to perform the Hajj. He also packed a cart with his personal belongings.

Prior to entering Saudi Arabia, he traveled through the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria and Jordan.

Ever since the curfew was imposed following the outbreak of the Kovid virus, I have been immersed in reading and understanding the meaning of the Qur’an. He said that one day he woke up with the urge to go to Mecca on foot after a year and a half of in-depth study.

The 52-year-old says it has taken only two months to prepare for the pilgrimage. A British organization extended a helping hand to him. Adam said that he did not face any major obstacles on the way to Makkah.

He added that there were no major difficulties except the brief detention of police officers in many countries, but they were surprised to learn of my mission.

After arriving in Saudi Arabia, Adam thanked the people for the warm welcome he received. He is now engaged in mental and physical preparations for the Hajj pilgrimage a week later.
