Washington and Danny Abdia suffered a second straight loss tonight (Friday-Saturday) in the NBA, this time 114: 92 at home against New York. The young Israeli got 26 minutes, in which he scored 11 points (5 of 11 from the field) and added four rebounds and three assists. He is not a partner at all in the fourth quarter and his team will finish in 12th place in the East.
The Wizards started the game better and led by eight points at the end of the first 12 minutes, but the Knicks made a comeback towards the break (including a 0:19 run at the end of the first half) and the final quarter was Garbage Time, with the visitors leading by 22 points at the end of the third quarter. Abdia recorded four losses (equal to the peak of his career) and added a kidnapping.
Roy Hachimura stood out for the Washington scorers with 21 points, while Obi Topin, who was selected over the Israeli in the draft, recorded a tremendous performance that he finished with 35 points. Washington will officially end its season on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. against the Charlotte Hornets, the Knicks will end the season in 11th place.
