11 students of Tamil Nadu who were attacked in Andhra while returning from writing the law college exam: The police arrested and created a stir

Thirumalai: The police filed a case and arrested 11 students from Chennai and Madurai who were assaulted by the toll booth staff over the issue of passtag not working while returning from Andhra Law College examination. Andhra state, Tirupati district and surrounding areas have more and more private law colleges. Students from different parts of Tamil Nadu are studying in this law college. For the past few days, the examination for law college students has been going on. After completing these exams, the students were returning to Chennai by car yesterday.

In this case, when the law college students went to the toll booth on the S.R. Puram Vadamalapet National Highway, the Passtag was not working. To which the customs officials replied, “Your passport has expired. Tie the money and leave” and told them to hit the vehicle with a helmet and take it back. Because of this, the angry students said, “There is money in Passtake. They said that the fault is in the scanning. Due to this, all the customs officials joined together and attacked the students of the law college when there was an argument between the two sides.

Are local people coming from Tamil Nadu to support the customs officials and creating problems with us? They have attacked the students saying that. Also, they broke car windows. As a result, there was a commotion in front of the toll booth like a riot. Due to this, the traffic on the Tirupati-Chennai National Highway was affected over a distance of about 1 km. On being informed, the Vadamalapet police reached the spot and arrested both the parties and conducted an investigation. Police have also arrested a total of 11 students including 9 from Chennai and 2 from Madurai for causing disruption to traffic.
