(Ahmad Mansoor) Security forces killed 12 Khawarij in Tera Valley during an intelligence-based operation in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the security forces have been conducting an operation since August 20 on the secret information about the presence of Khawarij in the Tera Valley of Khyber district. In August, the security forces effectively targeted the Kharijites’ hideouts and after a fierce exchange of fire, 12 Kharijites of Fitnah al-Khawarij were killed. Till now 37 terrorists have been sent to hell while 14 terrorists have been seriously injured.
ISPR Kamzaid said that the operations will continue until the restoration of peace in the area and the elimination of Khawarij, the armed forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to the security forces in Khyber Wadi Tirah district for the successful intelligence operation. also expressed the national determination, the President said that operations against terrorists will continue for the country’s security and stability, the entire nation is standing by the side of the forces in the war against terrorism.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for the successful intelligence-based operation against the terrorists of Fitnah-ul-Khawarij in Tirah Valley.
