The number of people who contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the beginning of the epidemic thus rises to at least 4,035,617. I deaths todayI’m 226 (yesterday was +263), for a total of 121,033 victims from February 2020. While the people recovered or discharged there are 3,484,042 in total: 18,466 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (yesterday +15.621). He positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be 430,542 in all, equal to -5,728 compared to yesterday (436.270).

The pressure on the health system
The pressure is slowly relieved in the Covid, ordinary and intensive departments. The beds occupied in the ordinary Covid wards are 559 less than yesterday, for a total of 18,381 hospitalized. The beds occupied in therapy intensive (TI) they are 61 fewer (yesterday -57), bringing the total of patients hospitalized in these wards to 2,522. With 143 daily admissions (the change in the number of beds occupied indicates the balance between patients who left and those who entered in the last 24 hours).
