About 12,000 employees are at risk of losing their jobs as a result of the quiet layoffs at Facebook’s Meta company.
Facebook’s Meta company is said to be undergoing peaceful layoffs. It has been reported that the authorities are in the process of removing the less skilled people on the basis of performance.
Employees have said that 15 percent of the workforce may be cut within the next few weeks. Accordingly, it seems that around 12,000 employees may lose their jobs.
Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that there will be no new hires at this time and layoffs are still on the way.
It is noteworthy that Mark Zuckerberg announced last July that the number of employees will be reduced next year to fix the company.
Facebook’s parent company Meta has been cutting staff to cut costs amid the economic downturn.
