Entries for the 12th Ecospeaker Film Festival were extended until January 31: the Latin American Competition and the Short Ecospeaker Contest. The event will take place in São Paulo, in June, with the entire program free of charge.

Latin American works completed after 2021 will be accepted, with no restrictions regarding genre or duration. Films must address themes related to socio-environmental issues, such as: energy, water, climate emergency, consumption, work, traditional peoples, racial issues, socio-environmental activism, solid waste, contamination, pollution, public policies, city, mobility, housing, food , economy, globalization, wildlife, sustainability, among others.

The Short Contest will accept films of up to 30 minutes in length, finished from 2021, made by higher education students, technical courses, free film courses and high school. The works must address themes that dialogue with at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the UN in the 2030 Agenda, which encompass issues such as climate emergency, education, health, reduction of inequalities, among others.
