Kanchipuram: In Kanchipuram, senior officials have praised the electrical workers of Sivakanchi division for removing old electric poles at 13 places and installing new poles in eight hours.
Deputy Mayor of Kanchipuram Corporation, Kumaragrunathan found that 25 power poles were damaged in Thirukalimedu Kasim Nagar, MGR, NSK, Nagar and other areas under the 22nd ward of Kanchipuram Corporation. After this, he ordered to remove the damaged old poles and erect new ones. Kanchipuram informed the higher officials of the power board.
Kanchipuram Power Distribution Circle, North Power Line, Sivakanchi Division Assistant Executive Engineer Cholarajan, the power board staff, yesterday at 10:00 am, started the work of removing the damaged power poles and erecting a new power pole in the area under the 22nd ward. By 6:00 pm, 13 old poles were removed, New poles were planted at the same place.
High officials including Deputy Mayor Kumaragrunathan, Kanchipuram Power Distribution Circle, Superintending Engineer Shanmugam praised the Sivakanchi division electricity workers who worked quickly and erected 13 new poles in Panjupet on the 24th of last month in a single day.
