The bus was traveling from Lahore in the Punjab province of Pakistan with 18 passengers. The bus was traveling in Rakim Yar Khan district when it collided head-on with a lorry loaded with sugarcane in the opposite direction. 13 people traveling in the bus were crushed to death in this tragic accident. Local people rescued 5 people who were fighting for life with severe injuries and admitted them to the hospital. Reports say that their condition is critical.
Officials said that the road was wet due to rain and due to this, these vehicles may have lost control while braking and collided with each other. The driver of the truck fled from the spot after the accident. Police have taken action to arrest him.
