13 members of BJP’s IT cell resign in Tamil Nadu ⋆ Dawat News

New Delhi, March 9: Thirteen members of the Tamil Nadu unit of the information and technology wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tamil Nadu quit the party on Wednesday. He is likely to join the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

All of them were part of the BJP unit in Chennai West.

Among those who resigned are the district president of the BJP IT wing Anbrasan, 10 district secretaries and two district deputy secretaries.

“I have worked for the BJP for years,” Anbrasan said in a statement. People know that I never expected any position. Considering the unusual situation in the party for the past few days, I have decided to resign from the party.

AIADMK is an ally of the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance at the centre.

According to The New Indian Express, the resignation comes two days after BJP’s IT wing chief CTR Nirmal Kumar quit the party to join the AIADMK. He accused the BJP leadership in the state of working against the interests of its cadres.

Following his resignation, four other saffron party functionaries also joined the AIADMK on Monday.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai has accused the AIADMK of trapping its workers.
