Title: 13-year-old girl and friend released from captivity after kidnapping

Thirteen-year-old Hila, her mother Raya, and her friend Emily Hand were kidnapped, but tonight (Saturday) Hila and Emily were released from captivity unharmed.

At around 11:00, Rami, Hila’s father, spoke with his wife again, who told him that they were hiding in the MMD from the terrorists. The connection was then disconnected and her phone was turned off. Raya and Hila were in the MMD with Emily.

The family’s phones were kept in Gaza, and they came across a video of women being taken on a cart to Gaza. They recognized Raya and Hila in the video. However, it is not clear why Raya did not return with Hila from captivity.

In Israel, there was hope that Raya would be included in the list of freed women, but there was no change in the list. This week, Hila will celebrate her 14th birthday in Israel, free from the terror that remains in Gaza.

In total, there were 13 abductees who were released and identified in the second round, including eight children, three mothers, and a grandmother.
