The work of changing the face of the national capital city is in full swing. It is reported that the new Parliament building will be opened by December. Construction of Central Secretariat Avenue is in progress. The contract process for the construction of the Prime Minister’s new residence is in progress. The agreement has been signed for the project to provide Metro to Central Secretariat Avenue. With all these renovation works completed, Central Vista Avenue was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days ago. The plan to beautify the Indiagate and Vijay Chowk areas was implemented with an investment of Rs 608 crore as part of the Rs 13,500 crore Central Vista development projects. 6 new parking spaces for tourists. 400 benches, amphitheater for public events, 64 toilets for women, 32 for men and 10 toilets for differently abled. Underpass to cross the road, 16 footbridges, total 16.5 km of footpath. The new Central Vista Loans, which includes Indiagate and Kartavya Path (formerly Rajpath), has many changes. The renovation of the lawns was just one part of the Central Vista renovation. All other works including the Parliament building are in progress.
