Breathe, from Derby in East England, joined the British Army at the age of 19. Later he graduated in Physiotherapy. Preet is the first girl from her family to graduate. He currently works at a regional military rehabilitation unit in Buckinghamshire. He served in countries like Nepal, Kenya and South Sudan as part of the British Army.

An adventure lover, Preeth has done trekking adventures in Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Iceland, Nepal and many more. Three years ago, he learned about Antarctica and planned to travel to the Antarctic Pole alone without any assistance.
But he did not apply to Antarctic Logistics and Expeditions (ALE) – the agency that allows him to go to Antarctica. Wanting to get some training, he started training for a polar expedition in 2021. Meanwhile his application for the polar expedition was approved early last year.
After this, in November 2022, he started his new adventure in the midst of frost. He was listening to some voice notes to encourage himself on his journey. Preeth completed his 67-day polar journey the day before yesterday.
Sandi, 33, has traveled 868 miles (1,397 km) in Antarctica on skis and sledges in temperatures as low as -50C. Breth has now broken the previous record of 858 miles (1,381 km) set by German mountaineer Anja Blacha in 2022.
In this capacity the University of Derbyshire awarded him an honorary degree. Similarly, she expressed appreciation for making a record of traveling to the polar region as a single woman without any support or help.
Through his Antarctic journey, Preet said he wanted to inspire the younger generation to cross boundaries and achieve whatever they want.
