14 gang members sentenced to 36 years in prison

The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) stated through social networks that 14 gang members of the Kaskajeras Locos Salvatruchos clique of the MS are serving sentences of up to 36 years in prison.

According to the investigations of the FGR, in 2019, they arrived at the houses of the victims and, with firearms, threatened them so that they would leave the area if they did not collaborate with them.

“One of the victims was deprived of liberty and taken to a farm where they took her life. These events occurred in La Libertad”, mentioned the FGR.

In addition, the Attorney General’s Office extorted up to 5,000 dollars in exchange for not harming them.
