AMBRIDGE, Pa. (KDKA) – Tragedy struck in Ambridge, Beaver County on Sunday evening when a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed. The incident took place along the 1100 block of Church Street, according to officials from Beaver County 911.

At approximately 7 p.m., a distress call was made reporting a person who had been shot. Sadly, the victim, identified only as a juvenile, was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by a press release issued by the local police department.

Alert citizens in the area immediately notified law enforcement about two male suspects seen fleeing from the scene. Acting quickly, officers spotted one of the alleged suspects entering an apartment on Olive Lane.
