jpnn.comDENPASAR – The National Police has prepared 1,438 personnel from the Traffic Unit to guard the movement of guests and delegates of the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum Summit and the High Level Forum on Multi Stakeholders Partnership in Bali, 1–3 September 2024.
The Director of Law Enforcement of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps as the Head of the Puri Agung II Operation Walrolakir Task Force, Brigadier General Raden Slamet Widodo, said that the personnel deployed would escort state guests from their arrival to their return to their respective countries.
Of the 1,438 personnel, 328 personnel are tasked with securing and escorting VVIP, VIP and delegate guests.
“We have deployed 1,438 personnel with Pamwal 328 members, there are VVIP escorts, VIP escorts and escorts for other delegations that we have prepared on the routes that are passed, of course we coordinate with Paspampres, TNI and the committee,” he explained.
Especially for the gala dinner event held at the Intercontinental Bali Resort, Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, on Sunday (1/9), the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps has prepared traffic arrangements in six areas passed by guests from their overnight accommodation to the event location.
“We prepared six beatfrom the start beat one to beat six from Sanur, then Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, and South Nusa Dua, North Nusa Dua, where the delegates and state guests will stay overnight,” he explained.
The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps also prepared a TAA (traffic accident analysis) unit along with traffic engineering in case an accident occurs on the priority routes.
According to Brigadier General Slamet, the efforts made, in addition to providing comfort to guests, also to the community and tourists.
