I’m 14,826 new cases of Covid in Italy (yesterday there were 18,255, here the bulletin). The number of people who contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the beginning of the epidemic thus rises to at least 17,388,877.
There are 27 deaths today (yesterday 66), for a total of 166,569 victims since February 2020. There are 142,066 molecular and antigenic swabs carried out in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 193,183. The positivity rate was 10.4%, up from 9.4% yesterday. 260 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 10 more than yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. Daily admissions are 24. There are 5,234 hospitalized in ordinary wards, or 114 fewer than yesterday.
