Abu Dhabi: The number of new covid cases in the UAE has been decreasing slightly for the past few days. According to the official data released by the Ministry of Health and Defense of the country, 1,489 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the country today.

In the last 24 hours, 1,499 Kovid patients who were under treatment in the country have recovered. In the last 24 hours, no new deaths due to covid have been reported in the country. New patients in the country were detected from 297,155 newly conducted covid tests.

According to the figures so far, a total of 9,70,586 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the UAE. Of these, 9,50,717 people have already recovered. A total of 2,325 people have died due to covid in the country. Currently there are 17,544 covid patients in the country.

Ras Al Khaimah: The group that caused a beating in a shopping mall in the UAE was arrested. The incident took place in Ras Al Khaimah. The police made the arrest after the video footage of this was widely circulated on social media.

Apart from the violation of public decency, the police also informed that by circulating such videos, they are involved in crimes like defamation and violation of privacy.
