Abu Dhabi: The number of new covid cases in the UAE has been decreasing slightly for the past few days. According to the official data released by the Ministry of Health and Defense of the country, 1,489 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the country today.
In the last 24 hours, 1,499 Kovid patients who were under treatment in the country have recovered. In the last 24 hours, no new deaths due to covid have been reported in the country. New patients in the country were detected from 297,155 newly conducted covid tests.
According to the figures so far, a total of 9,70,586 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the UAE. Of these, 9,50,717 people have already recovered. A total of 2,325 people have died due to covid in the country. Currently there are 17,544 covid patients in the country.

Attack in shopping mall in UAE; Arrested after the video went viral
Ras Al Khaimah: The group that caused a beating in a shopping mall in the UAE was arrested. The incident took place in Ras Al Khaimah. The police made the arrest after the video footage of this was widely circulated on social media.
The Ras Al Khaimah police noticed the video and identified the youths who caused the beating and arrested them. The police have also arrested the person who videotaped the incident and uploaded it on social media. All were handed over to public prosecution for further proceedings.
Ras Al Khaimah Police informed that they have already warned the people not to create a threat to public peace by creating riots. Publishing and disseminating footage of such incidents is punishable. Apart from the violation of public decency, the police also informed that by circulating such videos, they are involved in crimes like defamation and violation of privacy.
