Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the strike on the Abu Arab School in central Gaza, “which shelters thousands of displaced people, killed 15 people, most of them women and children.
This strike, which targeted the Abu Arab School affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, was the fifth strike on a school sheltering internally displaced people. for eight days.
On July 6, Zionist aircraft bombed the Al-Jouni School, also run by UNRWA, in Nuseirat camp. The agency said there were about two thousand people taking shelter there at the time.
The following day, four people were martyred in a strike on the church-affiliated Holy Family School in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the Civil Defense.
