Danny Avdia was close to a third straight double-double with 15 points, nine rebounds, two steals and an assist in 27 minutes in what continued his positive momentum from the recent period. It happened tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) when Washington recorded a fifth consecutive victory 103:113 over New Orleans.

The Wizards led 80:96 with 8:16 minutes remaining, the Pelicans responded with a 0:10 run, but Bradley Beal led the guests to 92:100 and after that New Orleans managed to get as close as possible to a six-point deficit and no more. It was Washington’s fourth straight road win, while New Orleans suffered its seventh straight loss.
