James Lobue, a 15-year-old boy who ran away from his parents in Bismarck (in the state of North Dakota), was shot dead in an apartment in which he lived in Las Vegas on September 2, according to USA Today. A young runaway has taken refuge with a friend in a girlfriend’s sofa.

The bride’s father was not happy that these two young people were living in his side room, so he woke them up, poured a bottle of water on them and asked them to leave. Except that Browdy Lee Shaffer, the older brother of the runaway travel companion, doesn’t see it that way.

The FaceTime show and the accidental shooting

He allegedly arrived at the apartment armed with a semi-automatic weapon, to take revenge on his little brother who “suffocated”. At the same time, he allegedly made a FaceTime call to a girl, showing off his gun and playing with lights and lasers. During this demonstration, a shot was fired, and James Lobue was allegedly hit in the chest.

After the shooting, James Lobue collapsed in the bedroom door. Residents, including Browdy Lee Shaffer, initially tried to help James, but panic led Browdy Lee Shaffer to leave the scene quickly before police arrived. James Lobue was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries. Two days later, Browdy Lee Shaffer was arrested and is being held at the Clark County (Nevada) Detention Center. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the shooting.
