(ANSA) – LONDON, JULY 22 – Another shocking murder involving a very young victim in London, where a 15-year-old was shot dead in what may have been a case of violence linked to some youth gang. The Met Police (Scotland Yard) announced today that it has arrested six young people, all male, suspected to varying degrees of possible involvement in the incident. The bloody incident dates back to yesterday. The body of the 15-year-old was found at around 7.20 pm – after a shooting had been reported to the police – in a public park in the Ladbroke Grove area, west of the British capital, adjacent to the residential area of Notting Hill. At the moment all six arrested remain in custody, while the investigation continues. Youth violence has been highlighted by the media for several years as a recurring scourge both in London and in other urban areas of the United Kingdom; marked most frequently by the use of knives and cutting weapons.
