A 15-year-old teenager opened fire at a school in the town of Oxford, north of Detroit in the US state of Michigan. Three people died, eight more, including the teacher, were injured. On Tuesday, November 30, this was reported by the local police.

According to law enforcement agencies, the attacker fired 15 to 20 shots. The dead were between 14 and 17 years old. Some of the victims are in critical condition, including a 14-year-old schoolboy who is now on mechanical ventilation.

The police detained the attacker five minutes after the call. He surrendered without resistance. As it turned out later, the weapon was bought by his father a few days before the tragedy. Shortly before the attack, the teenager posted pictures of the gun on social media. The motives for the crime are not yet known.
