There were 1,588 violations confirmed by the police authorities on the streets of Epirus from July 23 to 29.
Across the country, 95,279 traffic checks were carried out on drivers and vehicles and 20,440 violations were confirmed. 68% of the offenses were related to excessive speed, not wearing a protective helmet, not wearing a seat belt, not having a driving license and illegal parking.
Controls continue based on the standing orders of the political and physical leadership of the Greek Police throughout the Greek territory.
