The 15th edition of the Under-19 (U-19) Cricket World Cup starts in South Africa on Friday.

The first day’s matches will be Ireland vs USA, South Africa vs West Indies. India take on Bangladesh in their first match on Saturday.

16 teams have participated in the competition which will be held till February 11. These teams are divided into 4 groups of 4 per group. The top 3 teams in each group at the end of the group stage will qualify for the Soup Six round.

In that round, these 12 teams will be divided into two groups of 6 teams per group. At the end of the round, the top two teams from both groups will advance to the semi-finals.
