The incidence of corona infection in Tamil Nadu has been declining drastically and the daily incidence in Tirupur district has been less than 20 in the last few days. A further 16 people were confirmed to be infected with corona in Tirupur district yesterday. The number of victims has risen to 1 lakh 29 thousand 810. Similarly, 51 people who had been treated for corona have recovered. Thus the number of cured has increased to 1 lakh 28 thousand 532. Across the district, 226 people suffering from corona are being treated. Meanwhile no corona was killed yesterday. Thus the death toll is 1052.
