Minister of Immigration and Absorption Pnina Tamano Sheta: “We conclude a very exciting week of immigration with dozens of Holocaust survivors who immigrated to Israel this week and celebrated Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day, after having just been rescued from the difficult war in Ukraine. We have a first-rate right to provide Holocaust survivors with a safe and secure home, and the Welfare Department of the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption will take care of all their needs and wants. ”

“We are witnessing the great and rapid success of the important housing program that I approved in the government with the Ministers of Finance and Housing, thanks to which hundreds of new immigrants move every week to permanent housing in the community and settle the Land of Israel. I thank the employees of the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption who work nights and nights in order to receive the new immigrants and integrate them into the employment market, the education system and the Hebrew studies that will help them establish a new life in their home in Eretz Israel. We continue with the important work and do not take our foot off the gas. ‘ Added.
