167 Romanian tourists arrive in Aqaba by charter flight supported by the Tourism Authority

Today, Monday, a charter tourist plane among the largest Romanian companies, carrying 167 Romanian tourists, landed at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, inaugurating a tourist air bridge to attract tourists to Jordan from Romania, with the support of the Tourism Promotion Authority.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Revitalization Authority, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Makram Al-Qaisi, said in a press statement that the launch of this tourist line with 11 trips until the end of the tourist season supports the authority’s strategy to increase the number of tourists through charter flights to the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the reception of the tourist plane, in Aqaba, and the departure of tourists from it to visit all the tourist and archaeological sites in the Kingdom, will increase the number of tourists in the Kingdom.
For his part, Director General of the Tourism Promotion Authority, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, confirmed that this step came in light of the efforts made by the authority to attract charter, low-cost, and regular planes from several countries directly to King Hussein Airport in Aqaba, referring to the fruitful cooperation with the Aqaba Economic Authority. And King Hussein International Airport.
Arabiyat pointed out that the authority is working to attract more flights to Amman and Aqaba directly, and from there to visit the tourist and archaeological sites in the Kingdom, noting that these tourist trips to the Kingdom will increase the number of tourists from Romania, in addition to other countries from the continent of Europe.
He continued, that the authority is keen to provide healthy competitiveness in the aviation sector, and to harness it to stimulate the economy by attracting important investments and stimulating tourism to the Jordanian market, which are two vital factors for the prosperity of the Jordanian economy, expecting that the operation of these lines will contribute to stimulating tourism movement to Amman and Aqaba, and the rest of the tourist areas. in Jordan.
