16th International Festival of Children of Peace, from July 23 to 30 in Rabat and Salé

by times news cr

This event, organized as part of the festivities marking the celebration of the glorious Throne Day, coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Festival, indicates the Association in a press release.

This cultural event will welcome groups of children from 25 countries, in order to “strengthen the spirit of coexistence and cultural exchange”, specifies the press release, adding that this edition will offer national troops the opportunity to highlight the wealth and diversity of the Kingdom’s heritage.

The activities of the Festival will mainly focus on the historic districts of Salé, with the aim of highlighting the interest they have aroused as part of the Royal project for the rehabilitation of the old medina, which illustrates the importance given to the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of Morocco.

The Festival’s programming is structured around three axes, the first relating to “high-level shows and choreographic performances” reflecting the heritage and culture of the countries participating in this edition, adds the same source.

The second axis concerns, for its part, the holding of a first summit of ambassadors of the Peace Festival at the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency in Rabat in the presence of maqdessi children. This summit will be an opportunity to examine the various peace projects carried out by children, thus strengthening the vocation of this event and its role in the dissemination of the values of peace and coexistence on a global scale, specifies the press release.

Regarding the third axis, it concerns support for the Festival through Artificial Intelligence through a 100% Moroccan chatbot application available to all and accessible in several languages, including Moroccan Darija. This application aims to allow the public to follow the activities of the Festival, to answer questions from participants and to promote Moroccan civilization.

And to conclude that this edition of the International Children of Peace Festival is an ideal opportunity to strengthen cultural and civilizational communication between children, and promote the influence of Moroccan identity, while reflecting the values of peace and tolerance advocated by the Kingdom.
